Around Ruislip and the surrounding area there are ten miles of ancient woodland called Ruislip Woods National Nature Reserve. This area comprises of four woods; Mad Bess Woods, Bayhurst Woods, Copse Woods, Park Woods and Poor's Field/Ruislip Common.
